More NCAA Tournament Advice

[UPDATE:] Here are my 2008 NCAA Tournament Picks.

Those of you who are starting to think about your brackets will probably want to check out Seth Davis' latest March Madness Stock Report. A bunch of Big 12 teams show up. Notably, Seth says to sell your K-State stocks before the freshmen melt in the spotlight, and keep buying KU.

Surprise, surprise.

I read the article and what can I say, No love for the PAC 10. And yet, the PAC 10 will probably have four or five of the Sweet 16 spots again this year. Not to take anything away from KU's amazing season, but I'm tired of reading the same basketball report year in and year out that always seems to forget that we play hoops over here on the "other" coast as well.

Hmm... I have to say that West Coast hoops typically get plenty of love. Did you see that mock NCAA bracket from FOX? 7 Pac 10 teams. IMO, it's usually the non-coastal teams that get the runaround.

It probably varies from sportswriter to sportswriter, though. I like Seth Davis because he seems to be aware that America has a Midwest. ;)

The PAC 10 teams are usually that good. They don't always get the love cause they're too busy beating each other up. But I agree about the middle of the country as well.

Either way, its all good. One month from today, I'll be sitting in an airport lounge watching the second games of the first round while preparing to fly off to parts unknown for two weekends of College Hoops Madness! (And a little fishing, hiking, four-wheeling, barbequeing, and other assorted manly things!)

I love this time of year!

I have completed a thorough color change, and am now a deep lime green, but I'm not jealous.

@Will Robison: Why in the world are you looking for Pac-10 love here?

You'll get your Pac-10 love on BSL right after Ariel starts rooting for K-State.

(See what I did there? That's code for "never")
