No (he's thinking)--YOU'RE intruding on MY space.
Strange, isn't it, how cellphones (among other things) have so addled, so quickly, our sense of public and private space. Rudy Giuliani, while giving a speech to the NRA convention this week, stopped in the middle of it to take a call on his cellphone from his wife. Whatever you may think of his politics, you have to shake your head in wonder about that, seems to me.
Back on topic now: these recent pictures of Aidan have been fun to see. Thank you, sir.
Agreed, cell phones create a whole raft of new questions about privacy and propriety. Sometimes I feel bad about listening in on an obviously personal conversation that's nevertheless going on loudly a few feet away from me. Which makes no sense at all.
As I point out to Aidan, If you're going to talk to your Grandma in the middle of the living room, I have every right to listen in.
