Nice to see some speculation starting to make the rounds regarding the upcoming Big 12 basketball season. KUSports.com has Oklahoma and Texas at the top, and I agree. Baylor will also be a very dangerous team, albeit not overly strong inside. The Jayhawks, who have the #2 recruiting class in the nation, will start the season with a boatload of unproven talent. They could still make a run at the title, though.

I agree with their Mizzou assessment, as well. I think Anderson is a good coach but he's about two "carry the team on his shoulders for thirty minutes when everybody else is shooting blanks" guys.
Alas, it's the age old question: Which comes first, success on the court or success in recruiting?
Cheers.
I hate to admit this, but MU has my pity right now. Anderson is a stand-up guy who I still think will turn the program around within a few years. IMO, good recruits comes first...and you don't necessarily have to have a whole lineup of blue-chippers to change the team culture, just coachable guys who come to play.
