Oh yeah. I should also mention that I returned home to discover that the fortunes of KU basketball have been very much restored. I can confidently say that the Jayhawks will make the NCAA tourney, and are back in the hunt for the Big 12 title. Rock chalk, baby, rock chalk.

One of these days, I'm going to change the picture on my profile to a big, black and gold "M" and starting posting like, 80 comments a day here.
Seriously, I believe the ship has been righted in Hawk land.
Cheers.
Meanwhile, in Tiger land, the ship has begun to go down. Only the brave will stay on board. Hang in there, Sherman, better days are ahead.
A MOST impressive game against Oklahoma today. Fine, pressing defense and some slick passing around the basket there towards the end. Now: about playing that way consistently . . . but they are still learning, no?
Yeah, this is still a young team. Three frosh and two sophs start, and Bill Self says the team as a whole has reached 'sophomore' level. The youth is still scary at times, such as when Mario Chalmers turns the ball over 8 times in about 30 seconds.
But, as crimson and blue pundits like to say, young blood = potential.
