As of this instant, Aidan, Lindsay and I are effectively in Colorado. Picture me climbing Long’s Peak. Picture Lindsay walking by an alpine brook. Picture Aidan spelunking in a marmot burrow. God permitting, this trip will include some eye-popping, calf-stretching hikes, some life-enhancing books, and some crisp mornings spent by the campfire sipping dark Roasterie coffee with chocolaty undertones. Pictures will be taken, notes will be jotted, prayers will spontaneously form, and the world will seem a better place.
Back here on the blog, the discussion of Mark Driscoll’s book, Confessions of a Reformission Rev. will continue during the week. The guys contributing are sharp, very into the emerging church & contemporary culture, and able to shoot off clutch comments at a moment’s notice.
